Great to welcome DAERA Minister Andrew Muir MLA to our Belfast WOW reserve today.
It was great to hear updates on the progress of Northern Ireland's Environment Strategy. It is vital that NI Executive approve this for the benefit of the economy, people & nature.
We have been reaching out to farmers & landowners to protect the few remaining breeding Curlew pairs in the Glenullin/Garvagh area.
If you have seen any Curlew in this area, please report all sightings to [email protected]

Happy #WorldCurlewDay ! š¤
We're not only celebrating Curlew success, but we're also highlighting the incredible efforts of our staff, farmers, and volunteers. Together, we've ensured habitat management and farming practices to support Curlew in Fermanagh and the Antrim Plateau.
We are delighted to hear the call of the #Corncrake back on Rathlin Island!
Listen carefully when on Rathlin, and you might be able to hear them. This secretive bird isnāt easy to spot, but their call is a distinctive feature of summer evenings on the island.
Rathlin has joined the international Island-Ocean Connection Challenge! Proud to stand with islands doing amazing work for people and wildlife buff.ly/445oQEf
