Kelly on Sai'vion Jones: He put on a lot of weight in the offseason. He's playing more football than ever and will just continue to get better. #LSU

Kelly on Kaleb Jackson: He has a physicality and explosiveness but still is learning how to play the game. He's terrific to coach. It's easy to see the raw physical ability, but there's so much more to that. #LSU

Kelly: I'm not afraid to play freshmen but I'm going to play the best players, freshmen or grad transfers. #LSU

Kelly on going 8 times on 4th down this year: Use a combination of good sense and feel for the game and how you feel you might have control or not plus use of analytics. #LSU

Kelly on Daniels: He's been outstanding. His ability to win the game with his feet and throwing the ball, he was as good as anyone in the country. #LSU

Kelly: The guy who has been a settling factor for us is (LB) Greg Penn. The best rotation is one that keeps Greg on the field. #LSU

Kelly turns to Arkansas: Our guys understand the tough games we've had with them, including last year (13-10 #LSU win) and they'll be prepared for that. Sam Pittman will have his team ready to go and we'll have to respond in kind.

Kelly on defense at State: Allowing just under 100 yds rushing is a job well done in the SEC. Third down we got off the field and we harassed the QB. We did the things you need to do in the SEC. #LSU
