A thing I like about Shyamalan is that he'll get actors that are just actors. He doesn't need an A-lister who is a celebrity first and an actor second.

I think about this a lot. What is it about anime that causes people to take ownership of it like this? 'This medium is mine, which means anything outside of my view doesn't exist'. You don't see this object permanence stuff so much with general film & animation.
