THIS 😓😓😓 When I first moved here daughter’s emergency contacts were my bestie (90mi away) and my parents (120mi away). When I was at UWRF, her EC was my parents who were 800 mi away 🥴🥴🥴

I was today years old when I learned that it wasnt just jurors’ racism but a ***legal jury option to ignore beyond-a-doubt evidence of guilt*** that found Emmett’s & Treyvon’s murders and the cops who assaulted Rodney ‘Not Guilty.’ 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

When I taught at UW a decade ago I showed a VHS (😅) of interviews w/ whiteness scholars. In it Peggy McIntosh admits she used to think black women’s claim that “white women are oppressive to work with” was nuts bc she used to think “I think we’re nice, esp. if we work with them”

🚨FALSE CHOICE🚨 Black women CAN ALSO:

- Choose a donor of another race & raise our kid black not mixed **bc race isnt strictly biological**

- Have a black friend donate sperm for us vs buying it

TLDR: We have more options than the narrow-minded choices others imagine for us

telling fat passengers they should consider paying for PreCheck so they can avoid the fatphobic body scan machine that has them getting their ass and crotch patted down every time they fly is… annoying.
