Every now and then I struggle with handling intense emotions. I will always advocate letting them out in a creative way. Over the last two weeks I have been working on this, I cannot tell you how therapeutic it has been.
Even in the darkness, there is still beauty to be seen 🌝

In response to Joe Wicks saying is caused by ultra-processed foods: Joe is a force for so much good but on this he's abjectly wrong. His point that a good diet can help almost everyone is right. But diet good, bad, or ugly won't make you have ADHD or make you not have ADHD.

It makes so much sense though! Lower dopamine than NTs + emotional regulation difficulties + executive dysfunction challenges + overwhelm (meltdown / shutdown) + rigid thinking + favouring routines + impulsivity. That's v simplistic but from there can deep dive into much more.

The question here isn't whether or not it is right or wrong for somebody with anorexia to die by euthanasia but why is treatment for anorexia so poor, that people keep choosing to?

Teaching little one a bit of mindfulness today. We stood in the woods and briefly closed our eyes. We listened to the wind in the trees & the birds & focused on what we were feeling. We grounded ourselves then carried on playing πŸ’œ hoping she stays in touch with her emotions!

I've been trying to get my head around this, but simply can't. 😣

people who have undergone conversion therapy almost twice as likely to attempt suicide.
(UCLA 2020)

How is this awful 'therapy' still being debated. It is not therapy...... It is unethical and cruel.

I've been having a good look, are there any studies done yet on the effects of long COVID in relation to eating disorders?

Also I am really looking forward to working with notts uni again next week, continuing their research into nature based interventions & ed treatment.
