740 hazel trees were planted over 2 days by 10 people - how amazing is that! 👍
An important native tree to Scotland, hazel nuts were picked by Arkaig Community Forest volunteers, grown in the ACF native tree nursery & planted in Loch Arkaig Pine Forest on Woodland Trust🌳 land 💚

This weekend we searched for the rare #Alpine Coffee Moth (Callisto coffeella) in Glen Doll; discovered in Scotland in 1983 & the only true #montane #willow specialist micro- #moth in the UK. We couldn't re-find it, but that's not surprising with #scrub as overgrazed as this! 😭🤯

We are about to plant another 30,000 trees - all in edges, hedges and cattle grazed landscapes

The number of trees you can get in to a traditionally farmed landscape is unreal

It’s not that hard if you want to, and use the non profitable bits of land and design it intelligently
