I am devastated to learn of the transition of my colleague Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr..
He was an effective and compassionate leader who fought relentlessly to improve the lives of folks in the NJ-10.
Holding space for his family, loved ones, staff, and constituents
Thank you Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley for your leadership in the fight to abolish the death penalty across the country!
We're still reflecting on the profound impact of @edtrust's Boot Camp. One standout moment was the unforgettable #CantBeErased event featuring Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley! Thank you immensely for your time, for sharing your powerful journey, and for your unwavering advocacy. #BooksSaveLives
Yesterday, we celebrated Black Economic Council of Massachusetts receiving $1 Million in Federal Community Project Funding to support their BOSS program. It was a pleasure to work with my former boss, Elizabeth Warren , and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley ‘s office to secure this funding.
.Black Economic Council of Massachusetts's work to address the Black wealth gap is powerfully important. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley and I joined BECMA to celebrate $1 million in federal funds we helped secure alongside Ed Markey to support their mission of supporting Black-owned businesses across the Commonwealth.
Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley thank you so much for sharing your time, your personal story & your advocacy with The Education Trust. It was an honor to have you in our program & we are even more thankful for your Books Save Lives Act, continued efforts to stop book bans & the penalizing of librarians
Shana Bryant Consulting Thank you to Elizabeth Warren and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley for their leadership and continued advocacy for BECMA. Thank you also to State Senator Liz Miranda and everyone who joined us yesterday to celebrate the impact of this funding and recommit to building Black wealth in Massachusetts.
Black families have been systematically denied the opportunity to build wealth.
That's why intentional investments can help close the racial wealth gap.
Proud to have secured $1M with Elizabeth Warren for Black Economic Council of Massachusetts to support Black-owned businesses & entrepreneurs in the #MA7 .
