Vice-chair State Representative Toni Rose leads a discussion on the current state of the foster care system across the state. She makes it clear that while the legislature has taken action, there is still more work needed to increase its efficiency and accountability. #TribFest2022 #txlege

Last session, my friend and fellow Caucus member State Representative Toni Rose authored HB 133 which expanded eligibility for the Pregnant Women’s Medicaid program. 31% of pregnancy-related deaths occurred 43 days to 1 yr postpartum.

Got to catch up with two of my sisters in legislative service, Jennifer McClellan and State Representative Toni Rose, today. DeSTined for greatness. 🐘🔺
.State Representative Toni Rose knocking down the odd talking point that Texas shouldn't bother with Medicaid expansion because 'only 700,000' people benefit.
700,000 people is WAY more people than benefit from most bills at the #TXlege .
'I don't care if it's just 100 people,' she says. ❤️👍
