Sarah Connor's roommate Ginger's answering machine message in 'The Terminator': 'Hi there. Ha ha ha, fooled you. You’re talking to a machine, but don't be shy, it’s OK. Machines need love too.' Oh Ginger.

If Kristi Noem had adapted 'Marley and Me,' it would have been a horror film about how Jen and Owen ended Marley after he decapitated their snowman and tore up the sofa.

It might seem as if the great Laurence Fishburne is too old to play 2010s era Doc Rivers in 'Clipped.' Fishburne has been around forever--but that's because he was just 14 when filming started on 'Apocalypse Now.' Rivers and Fish are the same age, 62. Looks like great casting.

I wish they'd had a scene in 'The Idea of You' where Hathaway and Galitzine walked through the Notting Hill neighborhood of West London without commenting on their whereabouts.

Looking forward to Caleb Williams lighting up Chicago. Anyone who thinks this city won’t embrace sports figures who march to their own beat is either very young or has a very short memory.

Movie Law: When you look in the rearview mirror and realize you're being followed, you can't say, 'Hey, we're being followed!' or, 'That blue car is tailing us!' You must say, 'We've got company,' which is usually followed by, 'Everybody hang on!' as you floor it.

The Richard Roeper Podcast (we spent YEARS working on that title) is now available on YouTube, where you can watch me flail my arms about as if I'm auditioning for 'Maestro.' Hope you'll give it a spin!

Here’s your reminder that Josh Pence, the problematic QB Bo Callahan in “Draft Day,” was the body actor for Tyler Winklevoss in “The Social Network” and also played the bro who says “Sweet” in the scene when Eduardo says two female students are freshening up in the Men’s Room.

With the lovely and powerful “We Grown Now” in theaters, I paid a visit to the former site of the Cabrini-Green Homes. Only the Rowhouses remain.
