Parliament should be consulted on military action, with a full debate of possible downstream effects. I understand that this may need to be after the action has taken place - but constituents will expect nothing less from their MPs.

This week, I visited Bradfords in Honiton to cut the ribbon on Daikin UK's new Sustainable Home Centre. This new facility will offer courses on renewable heating and heat pump training to upskill tradespeople. Good for the planet and a boost for our area.

Blossom and birdsong at Cullompton SpringFest. The sun is out at The Walronds and it is great to see many stalls set up by people who live here, including one by fibre artist and local Cllr Nikki Woollatt selling felt creations. This is Cullompton at its best.

This week I visited Foodsave in Beer. The volunteers there have a major impact on putting excess produce to good use, rather than it ending up in the bin. It’s a great initiative - and a credit to all those involved.
