98% of the math worksheets/activities you find online via Google searches, Pinterest, and/or TpT are TRASH compared to the district/school provided full core curriculum.

In 2023 there is NOT a single reason math educators should be using trash materials!

The more and more I read the research about different math instructional models and practices, the more I'm convinced there isn't 'THE way' to go. Teaching math is an art form. Pedagogical approaches should depend on the learners and the lesson.

Truly wondering:

Standards-based vs. Schema-based vs. Problem-based vs. Traditional...

Which is the best option for a math framework? Is there something else that is better?

What are the pros and cons of what you selected?

60 people in a row wearing hats, shirts, pants. Going left to right ...
Hats cycle in colors red, yellow, green.
Shirts cycle in colors red, yellow, green, blue.
Pants cycle in colors red, yellow, green, blue, pink.
Is there a person with a green hat, blue shirt, green pants?

THIS... ALL OF THIS

I get asked all the time on how we can improve students in math. That's a complex question, in itself, but this whole thread is exactly where to start.
