He serves in the U.S. Army and is wounded in the Vietnam War in 1969. He miraculously overcomes his injuries to play football again.

- Served as lieutenant in 2nd Armor Division

Asked Rocky Bleier what Franco Harris would have thought of his retired jersey being on display in Acrisure Stadium’s FedEx Great Hall. Here’s his response.

In 1976 the Pittsburgh Steelers became only the second team in NFL history to have multiple 1,000 yard rushers in the same season.

• Franco Harris - 1,128 rushing yards and 14 rushing TDs.
• Rocky Bleier - 1,036 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs.
