Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my friend and musical partner Rosa Passos - Oficial! I was so happy to perform with her earlier this month at The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center She is a massive talent and a wonderful friend.

For a weekend #flashback , I’m thinking back to April 1981 when I recorded my album #SuperStrings .

This record was a fun project. It featured me in a regular jazz quintet… alongside an entire string orchestra! I composed all but one song.
