Minister Dr. Valentine Uwamariya received Minister President Malu Dryer of Rhineland-Palatinate who is in Rwanda for #Kwibuka30 . They had insightful discussions on combating gender-based violence and fostering collaboration, and highlighted shared commitments and areas of partnership .

Minister Dr. Valentine Uwamariya held a discussion with Bridget Rhinehart, the Country Director of Kvinna till Kvinna International on the existing collaboration and its impact on the ground. They also exchanged on the new possible areas of convergence.

Minister Dr. Valentine Uwamariya:'Rwanda's commitment to gender equality is evident in our participation in the Generation Equality Forum. Through the Action Coalition of Technology & Innovation, we aim to address gender disparities in tech for inclusive solutions for all women and girls.'

.Dr. Valentine Uwamariya highlighted that empowering women in Rwanda involves unlocking pathways to empowerment, entrepreneurship, and leadership through effective ICT utilisation. She stressed that Rwanda is committed to providing the tools and knowledge necessary for this transformation.

Minister Dr. Valentine Uwamariya officiated the opening of the Gender Equality Generation Forum's Bi-Annual Reflection Day, rallying stakeholders to accelerate Rwanda's commitments to gender equality from fostering innovation in STEM to galvanising collective action.
