I-26 east at the 97 mile marker currently has one lane closed due to an overturned dump truck.

The entrance ramp from Broad River Road to I-26 east is also currently closed.

Myself and Deputy Coroner Ramey delivered the Prom PROMise message to Silver Bluff High School ! As you can see they took the pledge to not drink and drive for prom season ! Be safe young people!

This gentleman just had to have his picture taken with Officer Sanders from Region 6. He told her that he wanted a memory of the best and most positive encounter he has ever had with a Police Officer. And, yes, Officer Sanders did give him a citation. Great job, Sanders.

Being a State Trooper can provide you with unique opportunities that not every job has.

The STP D2Z team was at Union High School Monday and Tuesday to show the students what it’s like to be a distracted and intoxicated driver, and how it is especially dangerous around commercial vehicles. We got to expose the students to different distracted driving experiences.

It’s National Work Zone Awareness week. Please be extra cautious while traveling in work zones.

We’re at Chick-Fil-A in Orangeburg raising money for the Special Olympics. If you’re in the area stop by and come see us and donate for a good cause !

It’s been a busy April with upstate high and middle school career days! It always fun educating our younger generations on what a troopers job duties are and why traffic safety is so important.

When you ignore work zone safety, the impact goes beyond the on-site workers and extends to their families and friends. When you approach a work zone, remember why National #WorkZoneAwarenessWeek exists. Slow down & stay alert or pay the price.
