Today London Breed with BART San Francisco Police Board of Supervisors announced an expansion of public safety of up to 150 new ambassadors and attendants in and around downtown, BART and Muni Metro stations, SFMTA parking garages and city neighborhoods including the Mid-Market/Tenderloin and the Mission.

FINAL UPDATE; Overhead line issue at Church/16th cleared. #JChurch resuming svc in both directions. Bus shuttles will remain temporarily to help as we work to balance line service.

ATTN: IB/OB #JChurch delayed at Church/16th due to reported overhead line obstruction. Arranging bus shuttles to support svc btwn Balboa Park and Church/Market. Will update.

There is a 10-minute delay on the San Francisco Line in the East Bay direction due to police activity at Embarcadero station.

FINAL UPDATE: Delay at 26th and Noe has cleared. OB 24 resuming regular service.

ATTN: OB 24 blocked at 26th and Noe by #SFFD activity. OB 24 will reroute via Castro to Clipper to Noe.

ATTN: IB/OB 18 blocked on 46th btwn Pacheco and Ortega by #SFFD activity. Expect delays and reroutes.

BART is recovering from an earlier problem. There is a 10-minute delay in the SFO and Millbrae directions due to an equipment problem on a train at West Oakland station.

FINAL UPDATE: IB 38/38R resumed regular routing at approximately 2 PM.

ATTN: IB 38/38R rerouting around Geary/Lyon due to non-Muni collision. No stops missed.

FINAL UPDATE: March along Market has cleared. All routes that were rerouted onto Mission are resuming their regular routes. Some residual delays may be possible as svc is balanced out on any impacted Market St. routes.

UPDATE: IB/OB 9 San Bruno will also reroute onto Mission St.

ATTN: Due to a march along Market St., OB #FMarket will switchback at Ferry Plaza.
IB/OB 5 will reroute via Van Ness-Mission.
IB/OB 6 & 7 buses will reroute onto Mission b/t Van Ness and downtown.
