Lions beat Kinkaid (55-24) and Houston Christian (70-53) on their way to the SPC 4A Championship game. In the finals against EHS, the Lions played valiantly, but eventually fell 55-62. A tough loss, but a great season!

Lions win the 4A SPC Championship! That's back to back for our swimmers!

Lions at the SPC Championships. After a tough 2-3 loss in the quarterfinals to St. Andrew's, the Lions rebounded with a gritty 1-0 win over St. John's and a 4-2 win over John Cooper to take 5th place in SPC 4A.

Lions take 2nd place at the SPC Championships! Q. Perkison (106), W. Taylor (150), & W. Loehr (175) all win their weight classes. Z. Golle (113), B. Bacon (126), & J. Barnes (144) also earn All-SPC for taking 2nd place. A great day for our wrestlers!

In an epic SPC Championship, the Lions fall just short to EHS, losing 2-3 (25-17, 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 13-15). This was the first best of 5 match the Lions have lost all season. A tough way to end an amazing season, but it was a fun ride!

Saturday's to do list:
1) Support Hockaday Athletics (930 am) and St. Mark's CC & Track (1030 am) at the SPC CC race at AP Ranch in Ft. Worth.
2) Cheer on the Daisies in the SPC VB Finals at 11:30 am at FWCD
3) Go crazy for the St. Mark's Volleyball team in the SPC Finals at 1:30 pm at Trinity Valley

Lions are victorious in the SPC semifinals defeating Awty International 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-16). St. Mark's will face the winner of the Greenhill/EHS semifinal on Saturday at 1:30 pm.

Lions defeat FWCD 3-0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-15) in the SPC Championship quarterfinals. They face Awty International in the semifinals at 3 pm at Trinity Valley.

Last night the Lions defeated Greenhill 51-9 on Homecoming. After facing some early adversity, down 7-9 w/ Greenhill at the SM goal line, the Lions D forced a FG attempt & blocked the kick, sparking a dynamic offensive performance. The Lions finish the season at ESD next Friday.

St. Mark's hosted Casady tonight in one of the most exciting matches in recent history! The Lions won G1 25-18 only to see Casady rebound and take G2 & G3 by scores of 27-25 & 29-27, respectively. SM evened the match at 2 apiece winning G4 25-17 and won G5 (16-14) and the match!

St. Mark's closes out the north zone counter victory over Trinity Valley with a G4 win (25-20) and move to 4-0 in SPC NZ play. The Lions host Casady on Friday at 5:30 pm in another important SPC match.

Lions travel to Greenhill for an SPC NZ counter match. St. Mark's wins 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-23) and is now 3-0 in SPC play. They travel to Trinity Valley on Tuesday for another SPC NZ matchup.

The Lions placed 20th out 110 schools at the 35th Chile Pepper Festival!

G4 goes to the Lions and St. Mark's take the match 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21) over Casady. Lions are 1-0 in SPC counter play.

On Friday, the 3-1 Lions travel to OKC to face the 3-1 Casady Cyclones. The teams have faced each other 60 times since 1950, the 2nd most common SM opponent. The Lions lead the series 33-26-1. This may be the final meeting of these historic rivals as Casady joins the OSSAA in '24

The Lions traveled to Frisco to take on 3-0 Legacy Christian. While the Lions battled up and down the field, they couldn't capitalize on their opportunities and fell short, 14-28. The 3-1 Lions travel to Oklahoma next Friday to play former SPC foe Casady at 7 pm.

Lions win the Paschal Invitational, placing 4 runners (R. Mehendale 6th, N. Roby 7th, A.McCaleb 11th, & P. Steinbrueck 19th) in the top 20!

Lions hosted John Cooper in front of a strong home crowd in Hunt Stadium. Down 8-7 at the half, the Lions drove down the field & took a 15-7 lead late in the 3rd quarter. The game was then cut short due to lightning in the 4th. The 3-0 Lions face Legacy Christian next week.
