Last year Dr Amir Khan brilliantly explained in just over a minute how using the private sector undermines the NHS & hastens its demise.

Some thoughts on yesterday's astonishing demonstration.of solidarity. 1) After 14 marches calling for an end to all UK complicity in genocide, the movement is still growing in size and strength. Hundreds of thousands attended yesterday, from all sections of society.

What exactly is Labour’s problem with Corbyn accepting donations from We Deserve Better? In 2015, Lord Oakeshott gave big donations to 30 Labour candidates, 15 Lib Dems and Caroline Lucas, so it can’t just be that they are donating to non-Labour candidates.

As soon as I started telling the history of Palestine - and the fact that this genocide started 76 years ago with the Nakba, not with October 7th - they changed the subject to talk to Piers Morgan about a Netflix show. Interesting.

It's no mistake that broadcasters choose not to inform their viewers that 'Lord Walney' has deep links to both the Israel lobby and the arms industry. If you watch these programmes uncritically, you are actively less informed than if you'd never watched it at all.

Asked if Just Stop Oil and Palestine Action should be banned, Lord Walney starts talking about how groups can be banned under terrorist legislation and says these organisations have not yet been judged to be terrorists.

Not yet.

LordWalney says British democracy is under threat from the extreme far left that seeks to undermine our democratic principles. He goes on to accuse 'extreme pro Palestinian protesters' of coercing & intimidating MPs (hes talking about people holding their elected reps to account)

Lord Walney is asked if the police should have new powers to ban pro Palestinian marches & he says he is concerned they don't have sufficient powers.

He goes on to claim there have been substantial levels of criminality, disorder and antisemitism. He's lying.

Streeting is asked about Corbyn being threatened with expulsion from the Labour party for accepting a donation from We Deserve Better, and says he should be

Donations from people connected to private healthcare is ok, but donations from people committed to the NHS is beyond the pale

Wes Streeting is asked if, when he's in charge of the NHS, he'd tell hospitals not to get rid of doctors and nurses. He says of course he doesn't want to see hospitals getting rid of staff, but he refuses to say he'd give the NHS more money to avoid that happening
