A huge Thank You to the Khmer Community of NSW and The Cambodian Space Project for hosting Harmony for Hope, and the generosity of all donors and supporters, raising over AUD $15,000 for SeeBeyondBorders.

Over the past two years, the PIKT Research Project has examined the essence of effective teaching in Cambodian schools, posing the question: “What makes a good teacher?”.

The Connect Ireland Study Visit Continues!

It has been a productive week involving meetings with Ministers Norma Foley T.D and Roderic O’Gorman TD, visits to educational institutions including Dublin City University and TU Dublin / OT Baile Átha Cliath, and an event at the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Improving the Effectiveness of Teaching Maths!

Earlier this week, a two-day workshop took place at the Teacher Development Centers in the Kralanh and Srei Snam districts, allowing school leaders to work directly with the teachers in their school, enhancing learning for all.

Borey, our Project Manager for Educational Technology, supported by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade 🇦🇺 led a Mathematics workshop for teachers on using digital tools for formative assessment in Ek Phnom recently. Over 20 teachers attended the workshop with lots of postive feedback received.

Round 2 data gathering for the PIKT research project, is officially complete! Researchers from National College of Ireland and SeeBeyondBorders came together online this Tuesday to officially mark this, and feedback and discuss the information gathered during this process.
