Rumour had it that David Eby would be releasing his climate platform this week. So does this mean we won't see it? Hope we do. David Eby please show us your plan.

Federal conservatives and provincial liberals have claimed that local elections were a rejection of the left not just in Vancouver, but across the entire province.

Here's my TV story where I politely say that wasn't the case.

This in particular stood out to me. So much of the CEO's basis for DQ hinges on a complete inability to understand the complexity of social movements.

When people and orgs have been effectively pulling in the same direction for years, it can look a lot like collusion.

As we wait for the decision, let's tell Anjali Appadurai what we think of her campaign so far. I'll start:

Anj, you have been a model of leading with purpose, not ego

Calm, brilliant + brave

You clear the smoke + relentlessly redirect to the peril and promise

Thank you for running

Despite important new climate policies, investments&legislation, Canadian emissions have increased more than any G7 country since the Paris Agreement.

Akshat Rathi presses Justin Trudeau on what’s missing Canadian Climate Institute & Net-Zero Advisory Body’s annual event.

Any guesses at the answer?

I often wonder if fossil fuel defenders realize that there is no economy without a stable climate. They act like we'll just keep on exporting LNG long past 2050. Fracking companies are already being forced to halt operations in NE BC because of drought.
