Today marks the official inauguration of our new government under the leadership of Hon. Feleti Teo. Grateful and humbled to serve my beloved nation once again this time as Minister for Transport, Energy, Communication, and Innovation. #NewBeginnings

Pleased to share the government's statement of priorities. Of particular interest to our partners in the region is the reaffirmation of our relations with Taiwan and our position on the Falepili Treaty with Australia.

Congratulations to Hon. Feleti Teo, who was elected unopposed as Tuvalu's new Prime Minister this morning. It is the first time in our history that a Prime Minister has been nominated unopposed. The inauguration of the PM and Cabinet Ministers will take place this week.

Pacific Islands Forum, a body of 18 States, declares its support for the perpetuity of statehood and sovereignty of its member states despite climate change threats - a landmark development in international law & climate justice.
It follows Tuvalu's recent groundbreaking reform

In the face of climate change's dire consequences, the thought of losing our culturally rich land is truly distressing. It compels us to question the essence and value of our nation. The Digital Nation Initiative strives to preserve this spirit.
