Pleased to share the government's statement of priorities. Of particular interest to our partners in the region is the reaffirmation of our relations with Taiwan and our position on the Falepili Treaty with Australia.

Congratulations to Hon. Feleti Teo, who was elected unopposed as Tuvalu's new Prime Minister this morning. It is the first time in our history that a Prime Minister has been nominated unopposed. The inauguration of the PM and Cabinet Ministers will take place this week.

🌏 Excited to share my speech on Tuvalu’s digital innovation in response to climate change. We’re upholding our sovereignty & values - kaitasi, falepili, aava, alofa - against rising seas. It’s a tale of resilience & hope.

In the face of climate change's dire consequences, the thought of losing our culturally rich land is truly distressing. It compels us to question the essence and value of our nation. The Digital Nation Initiative strives to preserve this spirit.

Toso Viti Toso. A near complete performance by 🇫🇯. Last victory over the wallabies was in 1950. 👏🏼👏🏼. A calm and patient Fiji is a dangerous Fiji.

It was a pleasure speaking to ABC Pacific about this aspect of our reform, focusing on our definition of Statehood. For us it means much more than just the physical, it’s our culture, history and the spirit of the people. Good to hear Dr Bal share his insights. 🇹🇻🤝🇵🇬
