People in the path of #HurricaneHilary , take it from a Floridian, ignore FEMA's advice to have 3 days of hurricane supplies and go for 7 days if you're able. Especially since Cali isn't used to hurricanes, it's hard to know how quickly infrastructure will be up and functioning.

I'll repeat this — I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisana. I just went through this storm in Cabo San Lucas — it's no joke (for all those asking, this is my second home. I still live in the DMV and will be back in September.)
