Starting next week, Holland Street will see a temporary detour to facilitate building raised crossings as part of our safety improvements for the area. Please see the MBTA detour map for the 87 & 88 bus. 🚍👷

I hope everyone had a nice time at HONK! in Davis Sq last weekend, we decided to make our own noise in the coming weeks as we replace the brick curbs and crosswalks at these intersections to make them more accessible for all modes of travel. Info: somervillema.gov/daviscurbs

Excavation work has started on Somerville Ave to build the new sidewalks and connect the existing bike lane from Prospect St to Allen Street. Sidewalks will also include new trees and better lighting similar design to our Somerville Ave project. 🌳🚲

Reminder in #Somerville overnight lane closures and detours along Rt 28 (McGrath Highway), between Rufo Road and Medford Street. Closures will be in place nightly from 9/25 through 10/7, from 9pm until 5am the following morning.
