Daniel Amesbury suspended 5 games for leaving penalty box to try and fight. He got a game misconduct.

Jack Dugan is the 8th Komets player to league a league in assists. Len Thornson did it three times, so a Komets has won the assist title 11 times.

The South Carolina Stingrays' Austin Magera was selected ECHL Rookie of the Year, after voting by coaches, broadcasters, reporters and media-relations directors. Kansas City's Max Andreev was the runner-up.
