Thank you to South West College for hosting some of our excellent Year 8 students today to take part in their STEAM activities. The students built a bridge they could walk across, completed a marshmallow tower challenge!

We were so happy to welcome Mallaghan back today to launch our marketing campaign unit with Year 9. Laura and Mark shared details about the product and our Year 9s are keen to start strategising!🙌

Thanks to our very own Conor Taggart Yr 10 student and young entrepreneur for supplying personalised SPC Gaelic Gloves to our students.Conor started his own business with his brother, supplying gloves, sporting items. A shining example of entrepreneurial spirit in young people 🙌🏻

Our Year 13 STEM Ambassadors completed our collaboration with St Patrick's PS Donaghmore. Our Yr 13 students supported the Primary 6 class in the creation of a functional pulley system model. Well done to both our students and the Primary 6 pupils in their work!

… then on to BT Young Scientist where Conor & Thomas’s prize-winning project for St Patrick's College Dungannon on Speed told me what I need to do to get a parkrun 🌳 #pb - basically do more Thursday nights with Albany Road Run Club or plyometrics to use the science! Nice one guys!

Our Year 12s took part in a Cyber Careers Event organised alongside Cyber First, QUB and Belfast Met. Eamonn Brankin, Cyber First NI Lead, spoke with the pupils about why there is a need for cyber security👏
