Today Julieta Valls Noyes announced additional Population, Refugees, and Migration Bureau funding to support forcibly displaced people in sub-Saharan Africa. This funding will save lives and help find durable solutions for those forced to flee. Huge thanks from UNHCR West & Central Africa for this generous commitment.
Today, Julieta Valls Noyes announced $64M+ in humanitarian assistance, providing protection, shelter, and essential services for refugees & other vulnerable persons in Sub-Saharan Africa. This brings total U.S. humanitarian assistance in the region to $3.8B+ in FY 2024.
