I was at Hampden that night as a 15 year old Bhoy. An excellent performance and a deserved win. The victory margin would have been much more comfortable had it not been for Killie's fine young goalie, a certain Ally Hunter, who signed for us the following year 😎💚⚽️😃

33 years ago - certainly in my 'terrible 10' of worst experiences following Celtic over nearly 60 years. We had knocked out Rangers, then thrashed them in the league, so hope were high that we would at least win the Scottish Cup. It wasn't to be and Big Billy departed soon after
