What did you make of the game?

This was one of my 3 most vivid, non-sporting childhood memories, the other 2 being the JFK assassination 3 years earlier and the moon landing 3 years later. 144 poor souls (most of them young children) dying a ghastly, needless death. Even now, the word 'Aberfan' makes me sad😢
