3rd Year #Chinese students wasted no time in kicking off #ActiveSchoolsWeek than by learning some basic #TaiChi techniques. Tai Chi is a slow-paced martial art which helps one stay fit and alleviate stress. There’s no doubt they can practice these skills themselves! #Wellbeing
A big thank you to Ms. Shields Music in St.Paul’s Secondary Greenhills for inviting our 3rd Year Chinese class to Area 51 for a haunting glockenspiel and piano performance of the Chinese folk Song Wa Ha Ha by her own 3rd Years. It’s worth noting these students only began learning this song last week.
Thursday, Day 4
Students watched the 2024 Spring Festival Gala in class, while 1st Year students learned the #XiaoPingguo dance with help from our TY teachers. #ChineseWeek2024 drew to a close with our Chinese Kahoot. Big thanks to the #ChineseClub for all their help this week.
Wednesday, Day 3.
Students from Holy Spirit Senior Primary School visited Chinatown this morning as part of our #TasterDay . We were treated by our Folk Group members and Ms. Weldon to a Chinese song, while TY students performed the 小苹果 (little apple) dance. Thank you to all. #ChineseWeek2024

What a delight it was to see our TY students perform in Hairspray last night. A huge congratulations to all our cast, Ms. Masterson, Ms. Duffy and Ms. Weldon on a terrific performance. This is one I will remember for quite some time. #musical #Hairspray #TransitionYear
Purposely avoiding spoilers ahead of Thursday, but from little I’ve heard, Hairspray St Paul's Greenhills is not to be missed! Tickets are sold out for Friday, but are still available for tomorrow Wednesday 24th and for Thursday 25th January.
好运 (hǎo yùn) or good luck everyone!
