'I think maybe we stop talking about day time and night time and just look at it as one.'

Street Assist (SCIO) have welcomed the news that Edinburgh is set to introduce a night time co-ordinator, to address transport, business and safety concerns in the city.

'We've got this lovely old town, but at 1am when there's no one else around on the streets, that's not exactly the safest option.'

Street Assist (SCIO) are also hoping that this new role will help women in particular feel safer when travelling around the capital in the later hours.
