Early morning birds at Castle Water Rye Harbour Nature Reserve included 1 Merlin, 1 Black-necked Grebe, 1 Great White Egret, 2 Ruff, 1 Greenshank, 3+ Kingfisher, c280 Wigeon heading South-East, 10 Stonechat etc 60-odd species.
