Today is the National Day of the Sami people. It is celebrated in northern parts of ๐ธ๐ช, ๐ณ๐ด and ๐ซ๐ฎ, and the Kola Peninsula in ๐ท๐บ. The Sami are recognised as an indigenous people, and are an official national minority in Sweden.
