Stella Duffy The Literary Consultancy Everything you say is correct. I would add: remind yourself you've chosen this even if you feel compelled to do it..and it is perfectly normal to have days where you feel you just can't. Finally, when it is going right, when you're in it, there is no better feeling: enjoy that!
The Literary Consultancy It's about craft not muse, work not dreaming, day to day effort not the 'yay I'm done/got an agent/got published'. It's hardly ever how it looks from the outside and largely it's not at all shiny. It's a business, it requires keeping going. If that's all ok with you, go for it.
Keep those eyes peeled! 👀 This Saturday (22nd) we’ll be announcing our #FlashFiction #ShortStory #Poetry and #Novel results! Keep an eye out on our website and social media channels for updates. #AmWriting #Competition
