Toronto Police Association Thank you TPA! I definitely agree and would also add strong deterrents for violent and prolific offenders as well, especially those who assault police officers. We just had several Assault PO charges withdrawn in our jurisdiction. The timing couldn’t be any worse.
On behalf of the Toronto Police Association, I’d like to thank our members Toronto Police, along with Toronto Fire Services and Toronto Paramedic Services for a job well done at Billy Bishop yesterday. Our members acted quickly to secure and evacuate the area, while keeping members of the public safe.
We would like to thank our Toronto Police members, Toronto Fire Services and Toronto Paramedic Services for their swift action yesterday & for keeping the public safe at Billy Bishop. We’d also like to thank the public for their patience as our emergency first responders completed the investigation.
These little gestures mean a lot during times like this. Thanks for sharing Pete Grande- Director Member Benefits-TPA!
Toronto Police Association Thank you TPA yet again for your lobbying for positive change. We need stricter gun laws for violent criminals who choose to use guns and we need stronger border controls and interventions. Stop the source
#EnoughIsEnough We need meaningful reform to bail legislation that keeps violent offenders in jail and away from our citizens and @torontopolice members. toronto.ctvnews.ca/video-shows-su…
This note from Vancouver Police shows the traumatic toll the last few weeks have had on our police and first responders. If you are struggling with recent events, please reach out the TPA, your Steward or another member. There is no shame in asking for help.
Criminals will always find ways to get handguns. What’s really needed is strong deterrents for those who use them. Bail reforms, minimum sentences & consecutive periods of parole ineligibility for multiple murderers. #enoughisenough
