I was relieved to hear Phillip Island’s elusive fox is no longer a danger to Phillip Island Nature Parks Little Penguins and threatened species like Hooded Plover. After two months of night surveys, setting traps and hard work by detection dog Jazz, the fox was finally caught.🙌

Native cherry has always been one of my favourite trees - deep green and coniferous in shape they stand out in the Aussie bush. They have a fascinating ecology & are wildlife attractors. Also great shelter for humans & dogs on a soggy Canberra afternoon walk!
