Taft is thrilled to announce that Peter Becker ’95 will serve as our 6th head of school. Now head of The Frederick Gunn School, Peter will succeed Willy MacMullen ’78 on 7/1/23, following Willy’s remarkable 22-year tenure as head of school. Read more: bit.ly/HOSSTaft

Prospective day students, families, and local guidance counselors are invited to learn more about life at Taft during an open house event Monday, 10/17 at 7 pm. Students and faculty will be on hand to talk about Taft, financial assistance, and the application process.

Today Taft joins the nation in celebrating the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, recognizing the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the history and culture of the United States, while celebrating their historical and ongoing influence and achievements.

Preseason athletics kicked off yesterday and boys’ varsity soccer and football had a chance to practice on the new turf field – football under the newly installed lights.⁠ ⁠A big thanks to the group of alumni and parents whose generous donations made the new field a reality. 🦏
