A restorative visit to the Himalayan Sculpture Garden, one of our absolute favourite places to go and relax. Sheltered in a valley in the Dales, it's a tranquil magical wonderland that feels tucked away from the world. Himalayan Garden & SculpturePark

The 9yo's favourite piece though is 'Contemplation Circle' by Liam O'Neill. He likes to have lunch there and sit, snuggled up in the high-backed chairs. The chairs cocoon you, making you feel safe, yet part of the landscape. He's never calmer than when he's sat here. Himalayan Garden & SculpturePark
