The INCLUDE Impaired Capacity to Consent Framework was also published earlier this year (led by Victoria Shepherd) which aims to improve the inclusion of adults with impaired capacity to consent in trials 6/8

The NIHR Research INCLUDE initiative was set up to help improve this. In collaboration with key partners it focused on what under-served groups are and provided a roadmap suggesting ways by which inclusion in trials can be improved 3/8
