Once again we took part to START Competition day like every year!
Fantastic DNA was a success with the young scientists! Thanks to our Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway facilitators: Nora from Farrona Lab ´s lab, School of Biological and Chemical Sciences tech officer Cecilia & postgrad team leader Aine from the Lowndes’ lab.

Talking about pragmatic trials - I was the only person that was born (aged 6) when Schwartz and Lellouch published their classic paper (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4860352/) - still worth a read!

Another fabulous START competition! It’s rare that I end a working day thinking I have just been part of something that the participants will still be talking about in 30 years’ time but START days are like that. It is such a big deal, and deeply satisfying because of it🙂❤️
