This week, the MEP “Lima” ranger team escorted a group of children to school when a herd of elephants nearby blocked their typical walking route. The children got a lift in the MEP patrol vehicle and were off to school safe and sound.

This week, MEP rangers assisted @kwskenya / @sheldricktrust to treat a bull elephant with an arrow wound on his trunk. He was successfully treated and MEP rangers will continue to monitor him as he heals. When people and wildlife clash, MEP and our partners are there to respond.
