How sad that Thurrock Council celebrated #EarthDay by strimming the remaining long grass on top of last weeks mow, removing all the wildflowers + insects in it.
They've left the grass where they cut it, so it doesn't even look neat,which I assume was the purpose of cutting it!?

Cat owners on Facebook grp are outraged after a cat was killed by 2 dogs after it entered the dog owners garden. In the last year they have been outraged about people feeding their cats, cutting their fur and their cats getting hit by cars.
If only there was a solution...
