The construction of the new IPD-SAM ward at the Khair Khana 102-bed hospital, with the support of World Health Organization (WHO), has been completed. This ward features complete facilities and essential supplies such as medicines, renewable kits, milk preparation and equipment kits.

IOM delivers essential health services, including mental health and psychosocial support, to displaced individuals, returnees, and host communities across #Afghanistan . ​

🚑 In 2024, our dedicated teams have conducted over 140K health consultations, reaching those most in need.

Today is International Day of Human Space Flight, marking the first human space flight more than 60 years ago. In 1988, #Afghanistan sent is first cosmonaut to the MIR station, later replaced by the International International Space Station, and Pashto became fourth language spoken in space.
