In conflicts worldwide, thousands of children are losing their lives to explosive weapons.

Many more are living through unimaginable trauma.

UNICEF is urging countries to commit to not using such weapons in populated areas.

Sudan has the current biggest displacement crisis of children, Catherine Russell Catherine Russell says, calling the situation 'devastating.'

'Whether it's in Gaza or in Sudan or Haiti...children are suffering so much,' she says of the generational impact of conflicts on children.
