At the Le Chéile #IrelandForAll rally for World Refugee Day.
A big crowd saying refugees are welcome here, even with a few far right pretending they can divide us.
They will not succeed - The government must do such much more to welcome refugees and stop the death of so many travelling!
Today is #WorldRefugeeDay
We watch as death tolls at sea mount & homeless refugees are vulnerable to attack because of failed housing policy and rotten #DP system.
Stand up, speak out.

First the government delays giving apprentices at least the minimum wage in the Seanad.
Now it says to those under 20 years old should wait for the Low Pay Commission to come back.
So called 'experience gaining' doesn't pay the bills.
It should be #FairWagesForAllAges ASAP.
Was in the Dáil today to watch the People Before Profit Bill on the abolition of sub-minimum wage rates for young people be discussed.
Students as workers need to be paid #FairWagesForAllAges , rather than be paid less than minimum.
Hoping the government don’t vote to delay this by 12 months!
Delighted to be in TU Dublin Students' Union Blanchardstown campus today!
Being able to visit my local campus as one of my last visits as a USI officer is always a blessing.
Especially with the incredible Louise Kavanagh who I’m sure will do a great job next year!
Spoke at a press conference on the People Before Profit Bill to abolish sub minimum wage rates for young people.
Equal work simply should be paid equally, but those under 18 can be paid as little as €7.91!
We in Union of Students in Ireland fully support the abolition of these rates and #FairWagesForAllAges !
On the train to @uccsu for Union of Students in Ireland Crossover Comhairle Náisiúnta!
Over tomorrow and Friday, incoming officers, as well as those returning next year and leaving, come together.
It’ll be my last council as an SU officer after two years, and handing over my role next month!
It's well known that tobacco use is bad for your health, but did you know tobacco production & consumption is also really bad for the planet? 🚬🌍
This #WorldNoTobaccoDay2023 we've put together some graphics (using World Health Organization (WHO) info) on the true environmental consequences of tobacco use
