On Friday, I joined Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove at @FlyLAXairport to observe U.S. made screening technologies used to support aviation safety. In its partnership with TSA, LAX has been at the forefront of implementing innovative security technologies.

Last week I opened USTDA’s Indonesia New Capital Business and Investment Roundtable in LA. Our delegates have spent two-weeks visiting NYC, Dallas, and Austin, connecting with U.S. tech providers and investors on opportunities for partnering on Nusantara’s development.

I met with @LAcity Deputy Mayor Bromaghim and #MakingGlobalLocal partners LAEDC and L.A. Area Chamber as well as local economic orgs GLOBAL LA and TVEA to discuss how we can connect more Southern California businesses to the business opportunities that USTDA creates.

Thanks to the City of New York for hosting USTDA’s #Indonesia New Capital Smart City RTM. The delegation learned about smart city programs and innovative pilots with the NYC Office of Technology and Innovation and saw demonstrations of 🇺🇸 tech and expertise at the NYPD Real Time Crime Center and Joint Operations Center.

I was delighted to open the #DigitalTransformationwithAfrica Pavilion at the #AmChamSummit24 alongside Secretary Gina Raimondo and U.S. Ambassador Meg Whitman, celebrating the U.S.-Africa partnerships that are strengthening digital access and environments across the continent.
