The first graduates of the course were Marian Millar and Thomas Lythgoe in 1894! Marian was the first woman to gain a taught Music degree from a British university👏

It has been 130 years since we launched our MusB Music degree in 1891, taught by Dr Henry Hiles - Lecturer on Harmony and Musical Composition.
