Another Twitter follower alerted me to a SECOND account impersonating me. Please see the last tweet in the thread to my actual friend andrea cope. This fake account is @/VABVOIX. REPORT THIS ACCOUNT.

Be. Less. Cruel.
Some of us are already over our limit on suffering. The harm you are doing goes beyond stealing some $ from a cancer victim. You are destroying people's faith in each other. You are harming the brand of kindness. You are making it harder for people to get help.

ANY accounts --PayPal, Venmo, GoFundMe--in my name are not mine and not authorized. If I set up a fundraiser for me and The Wife, I will post it as my pinned tweet. Please do not donate to anything you don't see there. This has been horrible and wasted hours of time and energy.

To the people who wanted to help me and The Wife--thank you. You are the best of Twitter. I hope Go Fund Me and PayPal return your money.

To the people who set up fake accounts to scam people in my name? You make me glad I believe in a hell. You have done irreparable damage.

.Twitter Support My wife has cancer and there is an account using my picture and a slightly different @/VABIVOX asking people to donate to a PayPal account for her. They are impersonating me. Please do something. Here's a screenshot.

Unreal! Someone else is using a PayPal account to steal money from folks in my name as well.

It's already a problem.
When a fraudulent account is set up in your name, you are no longer able to set up an account. So I have waited years for the right time to do this for my mobility and now my wife's care and now it was stolen from me. So I am utterly devastated.

What is wrong with people? Stealing from two very sick people? Unbelievable.

.GoFundMe Someone has set up an account and is taking money in my name. I do not know this person and I am not getting the money, they are. Please take the account down, it's theft.

I was feeling so lost and hurt and panicked. And then y'all sent me kind messages of support and offers of help. I don't have a Venmo account,but I am thinking about putting together a Go Fund Me because The Wife's cancer treatment is so incredibly expensive. Y'all are so lovely.
