Black men deserve better than recommendations based on modeling, an imperfect science.

NIH should fund a trial in black men testing this. Black men may end up with more incontinence & impotence, but no better survival.

This is a dangerous and speculatory paper.

Disappointing to see the The New York Times publish innuendo meant to stroke fear in the paper. If there is no evidence of this claim--- and there is not--- it should not be in the paper.

Do we want efficacious drugs? How much efficacy is enough? How much is “feeling” like we are helping worth vs objectively helping and what is the likelihood we are improving health?
