We worried about all year groups but if forced to triage one group REALLY worried about in 2020 was 2024’s Yr 10s. DFE were warned - you can’t just remove all normal from Yr 6 and 7, all formative experiences, and expect this group to be ok. They are now very definitely not ok 😡

I think this is a great initiative; I think, given the huge swathes of public funding invested into their buildings, every single college and university in the country should be doing the same.

Closing campuses up and chaining the gates at 6pm, or over the holidays, is wild.

What mystifies me about the trans moral panic is that women outnumber trans women by a ratio so large I can’t calculate it. Transwomen are a minority that’s been excluded, abused, beaten & killed for centuries. It’s the ultimate “they are more scared of us than we are of them”

It's a bit annoying seeing all the people with platforms praising Dani Garivelli's article and saying how brave she is. It's as if she is the canary in the mine or something. You know if you agree with her you can say it too. Share the load!

Pals - one of my dogs is a TERRIBLE digger and has destroyed the third bed in a year. Can anyone recommend a decent, sturdy dog bed that might last a little longer? Bonus points if it’s machine washable because he’s a wee minger.

I find myself continually depressed and disappointed by the actions of those purporting to speak for and on behalf of my rights, without my consent.

One of these days, instead of saying, “that’s ma jail” as he points at the aforementioned prison building, my Dad will explain that he built it rather than leaving the hanging assumption that he was detained at His Majesty’s Pleasure 😬

Not denying anyone’s experience but when women say their forties are the best time of their life so far I am like, which part, the sandwich generation caregiving part, the insane brain with perimenopause part, the height of career busyness part, or the body falling apart part
