WCK has provided more than 100,000 vegetable kits this year to Ukrainians able to cook for themselves. The kits are full of local staples like cabbage, potatoes, and beets that families use to make some of their favorite dishes, like comforting bowls of borsch.

Evacuation orders in Rafah have forced several WCK-supported community kitchens to pause cooking today. Still, our field kitchens and community kitchens outside evacuation zones provided more than 168,000 meals in communities around Rafah and Deir al-Balah.

WCK and Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti have been providing nourishing meals to Haitians impacted by widespread violence and instability for more than six weeks. WCK teams deliver meals by any means necessary. In Zaporizhzhia, we deployed boats to provide meals to firefighters extinguishing a large blaze that ignited along the Dnipro River. The boats made it possible to reach responders working in challenging terrain.
